Dog rescue is a cause close to DesignGood
founder Kristin Moses' heart.

She’s adopted, fostered and helped hundreds of rescue dogs over the years. And she saw an opportunity to help animals in need even more by doing what she and DesignGood do best: building and launching a memorable brand: Boots & Arrow pet accessories.

The company’s namesake is Kristin’s dog Arrow. Arrow came to Kristin through the rescue group ADORE Houston, which pulled her from a kill shelter. Severely injured, Arrow had a disfigured face and required many surgeries and lots of additional medical care to get better. Her resilience and spirit inspired Kristin to create Boots & Arrow as a way to help other dogs like Arrow.

Boots & Arrow creates good in three big ways:
1 Heading

The one-of-a-kind handmade leather goods are made from recycled cowboy boots right here in the U.S.A. (DesignGood’s home base of Austin, Texas, to be specific). When you buy from Boots & Arrow, you support local industry and traditional production methods.

2 Heading

Boots & Arrow raises awareness about adopting rescue animals and supporting rescue organizations. A true rescue success story, Arrow is happy, healthy and the star of Boots & Arrows’ branding.

3 Heading

Boots & Arrow donates 10% of sales back to rescue groups, so they can create more success stories like Arrow’s.
