Steps in this phase:

  2. ESTABLISH YOUR BRAND’S VOICE: We create Foundational Brand Language that allows you to communicate clearly and build credibility quickly, setting the stage for your brand's success.
  3. VISUAL IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT: We design a cohesive brand identity that reflects your essence and resonates with your audience.
  4. PLAN WEBSITE & GATHER CONTENT: We will map out the content for your website and help you organize and gather all the information needed.

This timeframe represents the time our team needs to complete this project phase and may extend based on how long it takes you to provide clear feedback and the extent of your revision requests.

How To Have A Successful Phase One 

Your Role In This Phase:  

  • Complete your Business & Brand Discovery intake documents.
  • Participate in your Business & Brand Discovery session.
  • Review and approve your visual identity, foundational brand language, website plan, and home page copy.
  • Use our content-gathering worksheets to provide any additional information needed for your website (FAQs, team info, press, service details, testimonials, blog posts, etc.) and return them by the requested date.
  • Set aside time weekly to review deliverables and provide the information our team needs.

What you need to know:

  • Your visual identity, brand language, website plan, and home page copy must be approved before we move to Phase Two.
  • You will receive two rounds of feedback and revisions in this phase only.
  • After this phase, any updates to your visual identity and brand language will incur a fee and must be finalized as they lay the groundwork for the rest of the project. 

Phase Two: Gather & Create We transform your visual identity and brand language into a stunning web experience with compelling, SEO-optimized content and impactful imagery.

Steps in this phase:

  1. WEBSITE COPYWRITING: We create high-quality, SEO-optimized content for your entire website, clearly communicating your value.
  2. PHOTOGRAPHY SELECTION: We select images that align with your new brand or guide you in planning your brand photoshoot.
  3. WEBSITE DESIGN: Our team designs a custom, mobile-friendly, memorable website that sets you apart.
  4. TECH COORDINATION & HOSTING SETUP: We ensure a seamless setup or transfer of your website and guide you in selecting any other third-party applications.
Your Phase Two Deliverables Are:
  • Website Copywriting & On-Page SEO
  • Photography Planning & Selection
  • Website Design
  • Tech Direction & Coordination
Timeline: 8-10 weeks  

This timeframe represents the time our team needs to complete this project phase and may extend based on how long it takes you to provide clear feedback and the extent of your revision requests.

How To Have A Successful Phase Two 

Your Role In This Phase

  • Review, provide feedback, and approve the remainder of your website copy.
  • Once the copy is approved, review, provide feedback, and approve your website design.
  • Provide us with all of your technology logins and sign up for additional services as needed for scheduling, booking, etc.
  • Coordinate your photo shoot with our guidance if you want new brand photography taken.
  • Set aside time on your calendar weekly to review website copy and designs and use the tools our team provides to give clear and consolidated feedback.

What you need to know:

  • You get one round of feedback and revisions in this phase.
  • We always write before we design, so your website copy must be finalized before we can start designing your website.
  • Your homepage, about page, services page, and contact page must be completely approved before we can develop your custom website.
  • To keep the process efficient and moving forward, you will NOT review the design of your site's standard formatted pages, such as FAQ, praise, press, blog, etc.

Phase Three: Launch & Connect We launch your new brand and website, provide tools and training for maintenance and growth, and develop a plan for your continued success.

Steps in this phase:

  1. WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT: We build your custom website and integrate third-party tools to streamline business operations and save time.
  2. WEBSITE TRAINING: We provide an easy-to-follow Website Training Guide so you can confidently manage and update your site.
  3. DELIVER YOUR BRAND ASSETS & STYLE GUIDE: This guide and all your brand assets will help you maintain consistency across all marketing channels.
  4. BRAND MOMENTUM SESSION: Together, we strategize your business's next steps, ensuring you understand your new brand, the tools we've created, and how to maximize your impact.
Your Phase Three Deliverables Are:
  • Brand Toolkit (if applicable)
  • Website Development & Launch
  • Brand Style & Language Guide + Assets
  • Website Training
  • Brand Momentum Session
Timeline: 4 weeks  

This timeframe represents the time our team needs to complete this project phase and may extend based on how long it takes you to provide clear feedback and the extent of your revision requests.   

How To Have A Successful Phase Three 

Your Role In This Phase

  • Complete any Brand Toolkit Worksheets if you have project add-ons.
  • Review your website using Superflow before launch and give final approval.
  • Complete the steps to set up automatic annual billing for your Webflow website hosting account.
  • Review your website training in your Google Client folder.
  • Attend your Brand Momentum Session with Kristin post-launch to discuss the next steps.

What you need to know:

  • You can review your website before we make it live and request small changes before launch if needed.
  • Your website will be hosted on Webflow, also serving as your CMS (content management system) for updates.
  • Our team will provide training documentation specific to your website, always available in your Google Client Folder.
  • Your website is custom-designed and developed based on the needs outlined at the beginning of your project. If you need new pages or functionality added, DesignGood will need to design and build that out for you, and then you can maintain it from there.
  • We encourage you to implement the plan discussed during your Brand Momentum Session to maximize your new brand and website.
