What is Webflow?

Webflow hosting refers to the service provided by Webflow where your website is stored and made accessible on the internet. Webflow serves two main purposes:

  • Website hosting -  Hosting is essentially storage for all the files that make up your site and is needed to get your site live on the world wide web.
  • Content management system (CMS) - Webflow hosting includes a built-in content management system (CMS) that allows you to manage and update your site’s content without needing to edit code. This makes it easy to add new blog posts, update product listings, or make other changes to your site’s content.

Here are some key aspects of Webflow hosting:

  • Performance and Reliability: Webflow hosting is optimized for speed and reliability. Websites hosted on Webflow benefit from a global content delivery network (CDN), which ensures that your site loads quickly for visitors worldwide.
  • Security: Webflow takes care of security measures, including regular updates and monitoring to protect your website from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ease of Use: Integrating hosting with your Webflow site is straightforward. Once you finish designing your site, you can publish it directly from the Webflow Designer interface with just a few clicks.
  • Scalability: Whether your website experiences a sudden surge in traffic or you want to expand your site with new pages or features, Webflow hosting can accommodate your needs. You can easily scale your hosting plan based on your requirements.

As part of our service, DesignGood will handle the hosting setup for your website. The hosting costs were outlined in your DesignGood client contract at $595 annually. Your website will be hosted under DesignGood’s team Webflow account, allowing us easy access to assist you with any needs, such as making changes, accessing Webflow training, or troubleshooting. While Webflow is highly reliable and user-friendly, meaning you may not require extensive assistance, we’re always available to support you when needed.

Alternatively, you have the option to set up your own hosting account directly with Webflow. If you prefer this option, we will provide detailed instructions for setting up your account. You'll then need to grant us access so we can launch your website within your Webflow Hosting account.
