High-vibe entrepreneurs have a vision for making the world better. And they use their gifts and talents to make that vision a reality. That's not just what we teach our clients — it's also how we do business at DesignGood.
Our vision includes making the world a kinder place for animals in need. The way we're accomplishing that is by doing what we do best: creating beautiful branding that form authentic connections.
We are proud to offer significant discounts on our branding work for any project that advances animal welfare. Contact us to learn more. On top of that, we founded our own brand that helps animals.
Read on to learn more about some projects that are very close to our hearts.
DesignGood founder Kristin Moses has fostered or adopted many rescue dogs over the years. One of the most special is Arrow. Pulled from a kill shelter, Arrow has a disfigured face and required many surgeries and additional medical care.
Inspired by this resilient girl, Kristin created Boots & Arrow to help other dogs like Arrow. It's a line of one-of-a-kind leather goods handmade from recycled cowboy boots right here in Austin, Texas (DesignGood's home base).
Boots & Arrow donates 10% of sales back to rescue groups, so they can create more success stories like Arrow’s. The brand also raises awareness about adopting rescue animals and supporting rescue organizations.
Today, Arrow is happy, healthy and the star of Boots & Arrow's branding. (Be sure to keep up with her on Instagram!)
We set out to do some good with this project — and things just kept getting better and better.
DesignGood was already at work helping client Pam Siedler create a website to help rescue groups save shelter animals in Houston. But then Pam found out she was a finalist in the 3rd Annual Innovation Showdown by the Petco Foundation and The Jackson Galaxy Project.
So we jumped in to help on a video for her presentation. Kristin even joined the PetGiving team on stage during the live "Shark Tank"-style competition.
The result? PetGiving came away with $175,000 to create an innovative donation platform dedicated to helping save animals from euthanasia. Read more about PetGiving's inspiring story on our blog and see more of our work for the organization in our portfolio.
RescueMyAnimal is a platform that will save animals' lives by more efficiently reuniting pets with their humans during natural disasters. Kristin is a founding team member for this nonprofit. Thanks to DesignGood's generosity, this emerging platform now has a professional brand and visual identity. A website is also in the works that will allow people all over the U.S. to report animals trapped in disaster areas and alert rescuers to find them.
Founded by Pet Giving's Pam Siedler, this nonprofit supports the work of animal rescue groups in Harris County, Texas, by providing help with funding, events and transportation. In its first year of operation, this group raised over $147,000 sent directly to rescue groups. Since forming, Day of the Dogs has saved over 9,000 animals from municipal shelters in Houston and surrounding areas. Our work for Day of the Dogs is currently underway — check out what we've done so far.
This nonprofit organization is the one that saved our Arrow! But that's just one reason to adore ADORE Houston. They're making a real difference in Houston's homeless animal crisis through rescue services, vet care, foster care and adoptive placement. DesignGood created a modern, responsive website for ADORE Houston that advances their important work.
We hope you'll take a moment to learn more each of these organizations and maybe even become a supporter. If you're working on your own project to help animals, or if you need some branding support and you want to collaborate with some fellow animal lovers, we'd love to hear from you. Drop us a note with the details!
