Your Google Client Folder
At the beginning of your project, our team shared your DesignGood Business & Brand Method Google Folder with you. This folder is our project collaboration hub. Bookmark and reference it during and after your project for all brand assets, worksheets, copywriting, and resources. Once your project is complete, we will add your brand assets to this folder for reference.
You will use this folder to review copywriting and give feedback, share information we need for your project, and complete worksheets and assignments throughout your project.
Here is what you will find in your folder and how to use it. Remember, our team will always instruct you on what to do next in this folder and when a deliverable is ready for your review. There is no need to go into your folder and complete assignments and worksheets we did not ask you to complete, as they might not be needed for your project.
Brand Language & Style Guide + Logo Assets: After your website designs are completed and finalized, our team will create your Brand Language & Style Guide and save all your logo assets in multiple colors and formats in this folder. You can always access everything you need to maintain the visual consistency of your brand here.
Brand Momentum Session: This worksheet will be used during the final session of your DesignGood Business & Brand Method. We will use this tool to plan your business's next steps and learn how to use and promote your new brand effectively.
Brand Toolkit Worksheets & Deliverables: If you have added any additional outreach tools to your DesignGood Business & Brand Method like lead magnets, social media feed branding, sales tools, decks, and business cards, you will find the worksheets for collecting the information we need in this folder. Our team will always cue you when it is time to start these worksheets, which is typically after all your website copy has been approved.
Business & Brand Discovery Questions: This folder holds all the questionnaires you need to complete three days before your Business & Brand Discovery session with our team. This will always be your first assignment, so please set aside 4-6 hours to complete this work and give it the attention it deserves. This is how you will share all the information about your business and your vision with our team.
DesignGood Team Documents: These documents are for our team's use and mostly relate to your website launch process.
Foundational Brand Language & Website Content: This is a very important folder for your project and where you will spend a lot of your review time. This folder is where our team will be working on most of the writing assignments for your project and where you will be revising. We will always start with your Foundational Brand Language as it lays the groundwork for your entire project, and then we will move on to your website copywriting once approved. Please review our revision policy and tips for giving effective feedback.
New Brand Photography + Photoshoot Planning: If you have chosen to get new brand photography, there are documents in this folder to help guide the process of selecting, booking, and instructing your photographer. We also ask that you add any new brand photography you would like us to use in this folder after your shoot is complete and notify your project coordinator that the images are ready for our use.
Purchased Brand Fonts: We will use a few different font types for your project. We break these into two categories: brand fonts and web fonts. Your brand fonts will be documented in your Brand Language & Style Guide, and we encourage our clients to purchase their brand fonts for use on anything you create post-branding project. Unfortunately, we cannot share our font licenses with our clients due to font licensing laws. We try to use free web fonts on your website whenever possible, but in some cases, we might request that you purchase web fonts for your project. We will instruct you on how to purchase them. In either case, we ask that you add any purchased fonts to this folder for our reference and yours.
Website Content Gathering Worksheets: After our team creates your website plan, we might ask you to gather additional detailed information for your website. These worksheets will be used to collect content like FAQs, blog posts, press, team bios, service details, portfolio images, project information, and questions you want to ask on your contact form. We will send an email requesting which worksheets we need you to complete based on your site plan.
Website, Email Marketing, and Social Training: Based on what you added to your DesignGood Business & Brand Method package, you will find all the documentation for your new website and training in this folder after your website is launched. We will let you know when your training has been customized and is ready, but it will be your responsibility to review these documents.
Logins & Technology Worksheet: This is where you will share all your logins and passwords for the platforms and technology needed to set up and launch your new website, print assets, or add assets to your Canva account. Occasionally, you might need to set up new accounts for email marketing, scheduling, event management, and podcasting; however, our team will instruct you on what to sign up for. After signing up, add all login credentials to this document so everything is saved in one place.
