Is the DesignGood Foundational Website Right for You?

The DesignGood Foundational Business & Brand Method Package includes our Foundational Website. This website is ideal for new or existing businesses that need a simple, effective website for a strong launch.

Your website is the headquarters of your business and where your new brand truly starts to come to life. We use your new visual identity and Foundational Brand Language (included in the Brand Foundations phase) to create a responsive website on the Webflow platform. Webflow allows you to easily scale and update your site as your business evolves. If the primary focus of your website is ecommerce and product sales, we’ll build your website through Shopify, the industry standard for ecommerce.

What’s included in a DesignGood Foundational Website?

Before we begin the process of writing, designing and developing your custom website, we first make a plan to determine the right combination of pages and information that’s best for your unique business. This is the site-planning phase of the project, when we make recommendations for what content to include on your site and how it should be organized for ease of navigation.

A Foundational Website always includes 2 core sections – the main page and a contact page with a contact form. Your main page provides an overview of all the important things your audience needs to know about your business, approach, offering and the value you create. The remaining 2 sections are a combination of primary and specialty pages.

A Foundational Website includes up to 4 sections total:
  • 2 core sections (main page + contact page)
  • Up to 2 primary sections (of 4 total pages)
  • Up to 2 specialty sections (of 4 total pages)
Primary Sections (up to 2 out of 4 total pages)

Your Foundational Website can include up to 2 of the primary sections listed here, which are determined by considering the most effective way to communicate the value of your offerings. We also consider if your website requires any specialty sections (see below).

Primary sections may include:
  • Service Detail Page
  • Pricing & Packages
  • Praise
  • Events or Workshops
Specialty Sections (up to 2 out of 4 total pages)

The primary sections selected above help determine whether we’ll need to include any speciality sections on your website. Depending on your needs and goals, your Foundational Website may include up to two of the speciality sections noted below.

Specialty sections are typically robust and often include sub-sections or sub-pages. For example, a Blog is considered a specialty section; it requires a main landing page (your blog page) and a sub-page for each individual blog post.

Specialty sections samples include:
  • Portfolio
  • Blog
  • Podcast
  • Shop
  • Tools & Resources

Note: If you choose to include a lead magnet as part of your branding package, you’ll need a Tools & Resources section on your website to showcase your lead magnet.

What if I need more sections?

You’re welcome to add more than 4 sections to your website package. If your business requires space for more information, or you want to add additional specialty sections, we can provide a custom quote for additional sections and pages. You can also consider upgrading to our DesignGood Growth Website.
