Austin In Connection began as a gathering of Austin-area clinicians and has grown into a professional learning community for therapists, educators, students, and allies. Its workshops, trainings, book clubs, and meetups all center on Interpersonal Neurobiology and Attachment Science, and its members come for the learning and stay for the connection.
A community like this has a lot to hold in one website. It has events to promote, trainings and memberships to explain, a practitioner directory, and members of many backgrounds who each need to feel the space was built with them in mind. The earlier presence did not yet carry the warmth of the gatherings.
We built the brand language from how the community describes itself, an Interpersonal Neurobiology and Attachment Science Collective whose sessions feel like after-hours with a professor, and whose voice is smart, relatable, and conversational. The visual identity was shaped with the board, from the coral, moss, and navy palette to a typeface chosen so that no member felt left out. Copywriting, the website, and social media branding followed from that same voice.
Today Austin In Connection has a home online that reads the way the community feels, with learning, events, membership, and the practitioner directory each easy to find and a welcome that is clear to every kind of clinician.
