Brand & Website Design for a Somatic and Psychedelic Therapy Practice

Prism Wellness Holistic & Psychedelic Therapy

Prism Wellness is a somatic and psychedelic group therapy practice founded by Erin Atkinson, LCSW, with offices in Frederick and Baltimore, Maryland and telehealth for clients who are healing trauma and looking beyond traditional talk therapy.

Prism offers integrative psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Brainspotting, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and psychedelic integration, alongside somatic work such as breathwork, gentle yoga, and sound healing. DesignGood built the brand language, visual identity, copy, and website for this therapy practice, starting from a clarifier and a statement the practice could stand behind, Root in nature. Rise with community. Reclaim your path.

The website holds clinical psychotherapy and psychedelic therapy together in one place, so clients can see the range of care and the spirit behind it before they ever reach out. It reflects a practice guided by nature and grounded in community.

Who This Brand Was Built For

We build brands for therapists and group practices working at the edge of conventional care, whose methods need clear language so clients and colleagues can understand and trust them. Prism’s brand had to speak to people healing trauma through somatic work, to clients preparing for or integrating psychedelic experiences, and to seekers looking for care rooted in nature and community, and it had to hold clinical credibility alongside warmth.

What Changed for Prism Wellness

Erin Atkinson founded Prism Wellness to bring several kinds of care into one practice, including somatic therapy, trauma-informed psychotherapy, and psychedelic integration, with nature and community at the center. That range is the practice’s strength, and it asks a lot of a brand, because each part of the work carries its own vocabulary and its own questions from clients.

A practice that offers EMDR, Brainspotting, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy next to breathwork and sound healing can easily read as a list of services. People weighing where to take their healing need to feel the philosophy that connects those offerings before they read the details, and a site that leaves that to chance asks them to do the connecting themselves.

We began with Brand Language and Positioning, working through clarifier and statement options until the practice chose its clarifier and its statement, Root in nature. Rise with community. Reclaim your path. From that language we designed the visual identity, wrote the copy, and built an immersive website that carries the same philosophy from the first headline to the last page.

Prism now has a name, a clarifier, and a statement the whole team can speak from, and a site that shows its range with clarity and warmth. Clients looking for somatic healing, trauma therapy, or psychedelic integration in Maryland can see what the practice offers and the spirit it offers it in.
