Brand & Website Design for a Recovery Center

Impact Recovery Center

Impact Recovery Center is a residential recovery program for individuals facing substance use and addiction, based in Odenville, Alabama, with a step-down program in Birmingham and an alumni and family center in Atlanta.

Impact Recovery Center was founded by people who live a recovered life, and its program brings a 12-step curriculum, individualized clinical work, and the Impactful Family Program together on a quiet Alabama property. DesignGood created the brand language and positioning, visual identity, copywriting, and website for this recovery center brand and website design project, so the program, the family work, and the step-down path in Birmingham could be understood in a few minutes.

The brand introduces Impact as A Guided Immersive Recovery Program, speaks to individuals and to the families who want a part in recovery, and keeps a warm, professional tone that lets a worried reader feel safe asking the next question.

Who This Brand Was Built For

We build brands for recovery programs and practices that people research in a hard moment, where clarity and warmth have to arrive in the first minute. Impact's brand had to speak to individuals facing substance use and addiction, including those who have tried treatment before, and to the families who want a part in recovery, and to show a program built by people who live a recovered life.

What Changed for Impact Recovery Center

Impact Recovery Center was founded by people who live a recovered life, and its program in Odenville, Alabama combines a 12-step curriculum, individualized clinical work, and the Impactful Family Program, with a step-down program in Birmingham and an alumni and family center in Atlanta. Each part had a clear purpose, and the brand around it needed to say so.

A person or family reading about a recovery program is often worried and short on time, and a site that read like a generic treatment directory would have left the question of who these people are, and why they understand the road, unanswered. Families take part through the Impactful Family Program, so the site had to speak to them as directly as it spoke to the person entering care.

DesignGood wrote the brand language from the team's own account of their approach, including the clarifier A Guided Immersive Recovery Program and the line Be awakened to a new life of opportunity and recovery, and held a tone the team described as professional, caring, and upbeat, with words like dedicated and trustworthy guiding the voice and writing that stayed conversational and to the point. The visual identity, copywriting, website, social media feed design, and business cards were then built around it.

Impact now has a brand and website that explain the program, the family work, and the step-down path in plain, warm language, and let the people who live a recovered life speak for it. A reader can see where the program is held, how the step-down path works, and how to reach the team, and the same steady voice carries from the first page to the last.
