Brand & Website Design for a Functional Nutrition Practice

Hive Wellness by Kelly Hyde

Kelly Hyde, a Certified Nutrition Specialist® with a Master's in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine, came back to DesignGood ready to narrow her practice around one specific audience, women in midlife who feel like something has shifted in their body and have been told everything looks normal when it doesn't feel that way. She needed a presence that could hold both her clinical training and the deeply personal nature of the work she does with each client.

We rebuilt Hive Wellness's brand language and positioning, identity, website, and email marketing around that focused audience, along with the offerings behind it, so nutrition, hormones, stress, and lifestyle read as one connected picture instead of separate problems.

Who This Brand Was Built For

We build brands for functional nutrition and integrative health practitioners narrowing in on a specific population instead of trying to serve everyone, serving clients who feel like something has shifted in their body and haven't been able to find clear answers about what's happening or what to do next. Hive Wellness's brand had to speak directly to women in midlife, not a general wellness audience, which meant Kelly's offerings needed to narrow right alongside the brand.

What Changed for Hive Wellness

Kelly Hyde had already built Hive Wellness before she came back to DesignGood, a functional nutrition practice with real clinical credentials behind it. But her brand was still speaking to everyone, every age, every stage, which meant it wasn't speaking clearly to anyone. She had the expertise to specialize. Her business hadn't caught up to it yet.

Trying to serve every client kept Kelly's marketing and her offerings broad, which is the opposite of what her strongest clients, women navigating the hormonal shifts, energy changes, and symptoms of midlife, actually needed to hear from her. Many of them had already been told their labs looked normal, which didn't match how they felt, and a brand talking to everyone was never going to be the one that made them feel understood.

This wasn't a first launch, it was a pivot. We rebuilt Hive Wellness's brand language and positioning around one specific audience, women in midlife, and helped Kelly rebuild her offerings around that same focus instead of the broader client base she used to see. The brand needed to sound like Kelly herself, grounded and direct, the same way she talks with a client in session, narrowed instead of generalized.

Kelly's brand, website, and offerings all point at the same person now instead of trying to reach everyone at once. She also has the AI Business, Brand & Marketing OS in place, giving her a system to keep that focus consistent in her own marketing going forward. What she says stood out most wasn't the visuals, it was that the team took the time to learn her voice and the soul behind the business before narrowing any of it down.
